This year round daily service provides direct connection between Banff and Lake Louise.
Regional Banff to Lake Louise Service – General Route FAQs
Our winter schedule is currently running until May 12, 2026.
The route departs from the downtown Banff High School Transit Hub, with stops at Lake Louise Village and the Lake Louise Lakeshore.
Lake Louise Express fares for 2025 between Banff and Lake Louise are $12.50 for Adult and $6.25 for Seniors/Youth & Children under 12 travel free. In the winter you can use the 8X service between Lake Louise Village and Lake Louise Lakeshore (or reverse) by paying your exact cash fare directly to the driver upon boarding. Single ride tickets are; Adult $2, Youth/Senior $1 and children 12 & under are free.
Reservations are available and recommended, especially during the busy summer months (May-Oct).
