Roam Reservation Information

Route 8X schedule applies until September 18th 2022. Fall schedules and reservations for Route 8X are now also available. The Fall schedule will come into effect on September 19th.
This service can be reserved via our online reservation system to allow customers to select the date and time of their travel on our Route 8X - Lake Louise Express Route 8S - Lake Louise Scenic, Route 9 - Johnston Canyon, and Route 10 - Moraine Lake Fall services.

PLEASE NOTE - Reservations cannot be made for departures to or from the Lake Louise Village North or South bus stops.

Service for Route 8S (Lake Louise Scenic) will start July 1 and operate Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and stat holidays until August 28th.

Reservable Super Pass

New in 2022 – Free access to the Parks Canada Lake Connector shuttle with a Roam Transit Super Pass!

With the purchase of a Roam Transit Super Pass, visitors will receive free access to the Parks Canada Lake Connector shuttle from the Lake Louise Lakeshore or Moraine Lake.

How do I buy my Super Pass?

To purchase a Super Pass, you will need to click the "Reserve Now" button at the bottom of this page. This will take you to a product options page where you will choose the Super Pass option based on whether you require an Adult, Youth or Senior pass.

From here, you will purchase your Super Pass by choosing the date of travel and how many passes you will require.

Once you have purchased the Super Pass, you will be emailed a unique Item ID for each Super Pass purchased. (Please be sure to check your Junk email folder as your computer may route the incoming email into this folder.)

Once you have received your Item ID, you will need to go back into the Super Pass option and enter your unique Item ID in the "Redeem an Item" area to reserve your route and departure time on Route 8X, 8S, 9, or 10. Once this is chosen, redeem your code again to choose your return time.

How do I use my Super Pass?

Arrive at your departure location at least 10 mins prior to your scheduled depature time. Present your Super Pass ticket to the Roam bus driver when you board - the ticket can be in digital form, or printed paper ticket.

To use the Parks Canada Lake Connector shuttle, you will show your valid Roam Super Pass to Parks Canada staff at Lake Louise or Moraine Lake to receive your Parks Canada boarding pass. The Lake Connector Shuttle departs every 15 minutes from the Lake Louise Lakeshore and the Moraine Lake location.

How do I get my child a Super Pass?

Although Roam is free for riders 12 and under, they still require a reservation. You can secure a reservation for riders 12 and under when purchasing an Adult, Youth or Senior Super Pass by selecting "Continue Shopping" on the shopping cart screen and then selecting "Roam Transit Reservations" and making the booking for the child fare on the Route 8X service.

Did you know that your Super Pass is valid for all Roam Transit services as a walk up passenger? Just show your Super Pass to the driver when boarding.
