Banff Local Route 1 will be impacted by the closure and detour of traffic from Mountain Ave – June 11th-27th
The Town will be undertaking water system repairs on Mountain Ave. which will require the closure of the Mountain Ave and a detour to Rundle Ave and Kootenay Ave. This detour will likely result in schedule delays for Route 1 service.
The work is scheduled for weekdays:
June 11 to 15th.
June 18th to 22nd
June 25th to 27th
Mountain Ave will be reopened to traffic for weekends, so there should be no impact to Route 1 on Saturdays and Sundays.
