Based on the Bow Valley Regional Transit Commission board decision earlier this year, children 12 years and under ride for free on all Roam routes starting May 17, 2019, with no end date. The Youth Pass is now valid for ages 13-17 and 18 with a valid high-school ID. Based on this, we will be issuing credits to individuals who purchased passes with remaining value at this date (i.e. 10 ride, 1 month, 3 month or 6 month passes). The credits can then be used to purchase future transit passes. Credit vouchers will only be available at Town of Canmore Civic Centre and at the Roam Transit office at 221 Beaver Street in Banff.

For Token Transit passes:

1. If the customer has purchased a Youth Pass but has not activated the pass as of May 17, 2019 then they can contact Token Transit directly at 1-888-730-4986 or help@tokentransit.com or directly from the help section of the Token Transit App and get the pass fully refunded.
2. If the customer has partially used a Youth Pass then we will issue a credit.
