Take in the views from Roam Public Transit on Canada Day! All routes will be running on July 1 however, please be aware that there will be modifications to stops due to the Canada Day event road closures in Banff and Canmore. We’ll do our best to get you where you need to go to celebrate but with the road closures and high passenger volumes, anticipate delays.

What you need to know if you’re using Roam in Canmore on July 1

• From 10:30 a.m. to approximately 2:30 p.m. the closest stop to downtown Canmore is Elevation Place North (if you’re coming from Cougar Creek) and Rundle Crescent (if you’re coming from Three Sisters). The roads are closed beyond these stops.
• Stops from the Canmore Collegiate High School to Canmore Shopping Area to the Bow River bridge will be closed to service during the road closure.

What you need to know if you’re using Roam in Banff on July 1

• Routes 1, 2 & 4 will detour down Beaver Street for the majority of the day.
