🎆 Because of the New Year’s Eve in Banff celebrations, Roam will detour Sulphur Mountain/Banff Avenue (1), Tunnel Mountain/Banff Springs Hotel (2), and Banff Centre (7) down Beaver Street from noon until the end of service on Dec. 31. The Downtown Buffalo East, Downtown Caribou East and West, Downtown Wolf West, and Elk Street Transit Hub stops will be closed during the detour. The Banff High School Transit Hub will only be servicing Lake Louise Express (8X) and Canmore-Banff Regional (3)

🎆 Temporary stops will be on Beaver Street, by the Banff Fire Hall

🎆 Please expect minor delays to our schedule throughout the day due to the detour and anticipated higher levels of traffic congestion. As well, our arrival predictions will be temporarily interrupted while the buses are off route for the detours

🎆 We’ll have a bus as a warming station on the 200 block of Banff Avenue from 7 p.m. to midnight. Come warm up and grab some marshmallows to roast on the nearby fire pit! 🍫

🎆 Routes 3 and Canmore Local (5) will be on stat holiday service on Jan. 1. Have a safe and happy New Year’s Eve, everyone!
