By popular demand, the route 9 service from Banff to Johnston Canyon has been extended to operate throughout the Fall, Winter and Spring seasons on a Weekend Only basis, i.e. Saturday-Sunday and Stat Holidays with the exception of Christmas Day (December 25th). We are happy to inform you that, starting October 11th, route 8X buses will resume fully servicing Village North and Village South bus stops in the Village of Lake Louise. This means that the buses will, once again, both pick up and drop off travelling customers at all the stops.

The tear down of the Pedestrian Zone wthin the 100 and 200 blocks of Banff Ave has finished ahead of schedule! Banff Local Route 1 and Route 2 are now using Banff Ave for service.
